Spearfish, South Dakota - June 27 - July 1, 2018Welcome to the 2018 Black Hills Roundup. Roundup headquarters is the city of Spearfish, South Dakota. Located in central western South Dakota, Spearfish offers a perfect base camp location for riding the Black Hills area of western South Dakota. Weather is typically in the 80's and there is always a chance of a thunder shower but June is usually one of the better months as far as weather goes. The Prairies and Hills should be verdant green.

Along with street based ride loops, there is also dual sport riding options as well. The Dakota Adventure Loop - aka "DAKAL" - is a 900 mile adventure loop through western South Dakota.

There are few organized activities save for a steak dinner on Saturday night in the City Park, there will be details published for dinner signup closer to the rally dates. There will be several Kegs of local Craft Beer available at the Steak Dinner for those that purchase the "Beer Option".

Book now as rates will climb as rooms fill up, The Black Hills, Spearfish, in particular, is a popular tourist destination.
Camping Option.
The City of Spearfish has a great city park with shaded camping by the creek. The campground is almost within crawling distance of Rally HQ (about a 10-minute walk when sober) for those that don't want to imbibe and ride.

Tent campers should not have any problems obtaining a site or reservation the weekend of the Black Hills FJR Roundup. There are showers/bathrooms etc in the campground.
Registration and Dinner Reservation
We plan to collect basic contact information from those who plan to attend the Black Hills Round event.
The intent is to have basic emergency contact information in case a situation arises. We will also have a portion of registration used for dinner reservations.
There is no charge for the basic BHR2 Rally registration. This will collect basic information from those planning to attend that will provide the Rally Staff with emergency contact information in case it is needed.
There will be a second event ticket set up that will be for those who wish to join the rally banquet planned for Saturday, June 29th, 2018 in Spearfish. That ticket will be added in late May once meal details have been finalized.
